THE ZIP SYSTEM

The KWIKZIP system is used exclusively for roller blinds - whether for solar shading or blackout purposes.

As its name implies, KWIKZIP employs an industrial strength zip inside its robust, but slim side-guides. The zip is welded along the length of the fabric edge.

KWIKZIP prevents the fabric from being pulled out of the chanelling and results in an almost drum-tight finish to the blind.

The neat and highly efficient top cassette contains the fabric, along with the operating mechanism.

Maintenance access is via a removable front cover.

For the record, the head box, side-guide and bottom channel are made from powder-coated aluminium and come in white or black as standard. (Special colours and anodised units are also available.)

PLUS ELECTRIC CONTROL SYSTEMS

In essence, there are two excellent control choices.

1: Hard Wired. A wall-mounted switch will operate one blind, or many blinds in tandem. A simple relay box is installed for two to four blinds - with additional relay boxes for greater blind numbers.

2: Radio Control. With this system, there is no wiring between controller and blind. The installation is simple and the decor is left undisturbed.

A single channel control handset will operate four blinds in a range of opening and closing configurations.

However, with a four channel handset, you can control up to sixteen blinds in a range of configurations.

Each channel is linked by a simple programming procedure to one or several blinds.

With the selection button, you can choose the degree of shading you want from anywhere in your office or home. Indicator lights on the controller show the current selection.
